Reflecting on Writing an Essay - A Lesson on Reflecting on Writing an Essay
Reflecting on Writing an Essay - A Lesson on Reflecting on Writing an EssayReflecting on writing an essay can make you better as a writer. It's easy to get caught up in the writing itself. But one good way to make your writing better is to reflect upon it at some point, and try to figure out how it made you feel. This will help you to organize and give you an overall impression of how your writing did. And this will allow you to approach your next one with a little more confidence. So why not make it a habit of reflecting on writing an essay every time you start to write a new one?In my experience it is best to write each essay on its own. There are so many different things that can happen that if you're writing two or three things at once, you're probably going to lose your focus. Focus is what writers are looking for, and you don't want to lose it. There is so much other information to take care of that first few minutes or your essay. So let's try to focus on just one piece at a tim e and see what we can do to improve our writing. It may take some work, but it will make your reading easier. The next step is to divide your essay into two parts: your objective and your details. Your subject may be the essay itself, which should give you a good starting point to get going.Begin by writing a list of all the things that you need to get done. Next you will use that list to direct your thoughts and begin to write what you think you will need to write about and how long it will take you to write about them. You will want to consider the tone of your writing. This will help determine the length of your writing, because you don't want to become too formal in your writing.Try to remember to look at the different styles and find out which works best for you. It may be a long time before you find a style that suits you, but you can find a way to get comfortable with one style so that you're more confident in your writing.
